Noticing the Peace Lily dying--I hadn't watered it. Dumped a cup of water in, went to sleep. Woke up in the middle of the night and saw its leaves half way up--rising. Woke up in the morning and its leaves were outstretched in all its glory. Peace restored.
Making extensive eye contact with a trench-coat guy.
Making a really fast friend at crew.
Long conversations with past romantic interests, just to clarify or catch up.
Pure clear day at the river.
Georgia and Mittens the Kitten and Rosie the chicken.
Looking at the clock at 7:11.
Alex's sketches and paintings and memories. He was so full of duende.
I need to take more pictures. I want to--I go to beautiful places with beautiful people. I need to send overdue letters. I need to appreciate all the wonderful people I know while I can.
I need to sit and think and reflect and release the hurtling accumulation of changes and experiences from the past two months. I need to do it justice by remembering it on paper.
